Suresh Pawar

A Journey of Resilience and Success

Born into poverty, Suresh Pawar grew up with four siblings, an alcoholic father, and an uneducated mother struggling to make ends meet. As a child laborer, his future seemed uncertain. But in 1981, after his father’s passing, his mother found hope in Bal Kalyan Nagari, where Suresh received free education, food, and shelter.

Guided by the support of the institution, he excelled in his studies, scoring 82% in Class 10, breaking records, and earning recognition from Smt. Neela Satyanarayan. Determined to become an Electrical Engineer, he pursued a diploma at KJ Somaiya Polytechnic and later secured a job as a Sub-Engineer at BSES (now Adani Electricity).

Today, Suresh Pawar is a Deputy GM at Adani Electricity and lives a fulfilling life. Never forgetting his roots, he and his family celebrate Diwali at Bal Kalyan Nagari, giving back to the place that gave him a future.
