ADDITIONAL OBSERVATION HOME MANKHURD, (ESTD: 1974)

    • Formal education, protection as well as freedom within certain parameters are provided to girls in the age group of 3 to 12 years and boys below 5 years, in this Home. The child population consists of orphans and those from broken homes brought by police/NGO or admitted on application by parents or relations. A noteworthy feature of this Home is that it takes complete care of the children of under trails and convicts undergoing a prison term. The social rehabilitation of children back in the community is the ultimate aim - the work doesn't end even if it takes years of perseverance and follow up. The Home has facilities for 150 children.
